About Energy Work

Energy Work...

is a modality that works with the subtle energies and energy fields of your body, spaces and places. It can involve electro-magnetic energy, energy fields or the subtle energy called prana in India, Chi or Qi in China, Ki, Reiki or Huchi in Japan, Mana in Hawaii, and Ruah or the "Breath of Life" in the old testament.

Energy work can stand alone or is an effective follow up to Shamanic Work. They are, however, two separate methods distinguishable from each other. If there is deep woundedness, Barbara will most likely suggest beginning with Shamanic work followed by energy work. For adjustments to beliefs and life issues, energy work may be sufficient to create major change.

Beliefs, the mind and energy fields:

• Beliefs are the software of the mind. Change the software and change your life!
• Sometimes our unconscious beliefs interfere with achieving our goals and desires. 
• The subconscious mind can harbor beliefs that create self defeating behaviors and outcomes— instead of achieving what we want we get an outcome we don’t want.

The Human Mind is like a Computer…

• The mind is the hardware and the belief system is the software. 
• The mind is programmed to work the way it does and it plays the programs that have been installed.  
• It cannot play programs that weren’t installed and it can’t change the programming.
• Programs like “I am competent” are beneficial and programs like “I can’t ever get it right!” are limiting
• Programs come from many sources… self, parents, teachers, authority figures, bosses, coaches, significant others and so on.
• Unfortunately there can be unconscious programs that run our lives and we are not even aware they are there. We can, however, tease them out to take a look at them to see if they are beneficial or limiting.
• If you are getting a negative result over and over or the same scenario keeps playing in your life, an unconscious program may be sabotaging your goals and intentions.

Energy Healing Modalities...

Psych K

One of the ways to test for beliefs, remove old beliefs and install new ones is called Psych K, short for Psychological Kinesiology. It enlists the wisdom of the body by using Kinesiology— a binary system that tests the strength or weakness of muscles to identify whether you believe something or not. Your body does not know how to lie so the muscle tells us exactly what you believe and how that belief is playing out in your life. Limiting beliefs can be deleted and replaced with powerful beliefs in self which change life outcomes.

GeoTran

Another method to change outcomes is with GeoTran. Geo Tran is a geometric, digital, numeric language which clears and re-educates your energy fields to their original blueprint. Albert Einstein posited that all reality is a vast fabric of streaming, inter-woven energy fields. Today we are finding that at this energy field level (quantum) is a matrix of information which organizes the form and operation of matter. GeoTran numerical codes are spoken verbally while the geometric shapes are scribed with the hands— generally circles and lines at specific spin points or vortices on the body or in the surrounding bio-field.

Reiki

Reiki is Japanese for “Universal Life Energy.” A Reiki Practitioner places their hands gently on the various parts of the client’s body allowing the healing energy to flow. The treatment restores harmony and balance to the whole person and stimulates the person’s own natural healing ability. Physical manifestations have components in all spheres— physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Reiki vitalizes body and soul and re-establishes equilibrium.
